  1. Get Leads - Obtain leads from EVERYWHERE you can think of: your sphere of influence, open houses, internet lead generation, cold calling, etc. The main thing is to gather as many leads to follow up with as possible and add them all to your pipeline.
  2. Give the Leads What They Want - Every lead you wants something from you, whether it’s a list of homes for sale, a free Comparative Market Analysis, information on getting a mortgage, or something else. The important thing is to provide your lead with exactly what they want to establish your worth up front - don’t try to sell yourself to them every time you speak. Becoming their trusted expert is the best way to naturally sell yourself to your lead.
  3. Automate Your Follow Up - There’s no reason to waste time sending out individual emails or scheduling individual phone calls to hundreds or thousands of leads per month - not with the various types of CRM software available today. Using an automated system saves time, helps in organization and contacts your leads on a regular basis. Follow up is the key to converting leads - they must be followed up on regularly for years if necessary.
